Ms Crehan's 6th class really enjoyed Science Week. They investigated the concepts of acid and alkaline using vinegar and washing powder and turmeric as the PH indicator. This allowed them to explore and create invisible writing. They also witnessed both the solid and liquid properties of oobleck. Their favourite experiment was demonstrating how gas is made using vinegar, baking soda and a balloon. They loved writing up their experiments.
